In this 40 mm 18K yellow gold model, the domed silvery dial features a stamped“clous-de-Bienne” pattern and an opaline finish. The display is distinguished by yellow gold-plated hands, as well as alternating Roman numerals and cabochon indexes.

While the product itself is impressive after a week of use, it’s disappointing that the included “manual” lacks a Japanese translation. I was aware that this was a parallel import, but the Amazon product page stated that it came with an “instruction manual” in Japanese, so I mistakenly assumed it would be included. It would be great if even a single A4-sized copy could be included. I later learned that other stores include both English and Japanese copy versions. A pity… The manufacturer’s Casio website also didn’t have one.
